In this episode, Alanda shares how trying to balance the overwhelming stress she experienced while undergoing a re-organization at work and raising two active young boys at home strengthened her character to trust the realness of taking one day at a time. She also explains how sharing a very vulnerable story about the mothers in her unique blended family allowed her to connect with ladies to let them know that they are not alone in their struggles.  She says that we’re more similar than different from one another and to respect one another.
